Databases! There are all sorts of databases. Here are a few.
For discussion sake, Timberline Accounting is a product of SAGE. Timberline uses the PERVASIVE database engine. Timberline Accounting comes with many prebuilt forms supported by queries. And yet, some users need additional forms to produce different reports. Access which is a DB engine and part of the Microsoft Office Suite (Pro version and higher) is used to interrogate other databases. Most business office users have Office as part of their applications on the desktop. Access can be used to interrogate many of the DBs listed above.
